As a quadcopter flier myself, I wanted an appto show me a map of the area I was going to film or fly. I wantedit to display any flight restrictions that apply to Quadcopters(Small Unmanned Aircrafts, Remotely Piloted Aircrafts). Then Iwanted it to tell me the local regulations, weather and windconditions.The system I created is focused on what I wanted it to do: showme legal restrictions, show me latest news, show me what equipmentexists. All focused on quadcopters and multi-rotors in general.It works by reading the weather data from OpenWeatherMap, mapdetails from GoogleMaps and restrictions/equipment details from mywebsite - JoelLipman.com.My website is not a social network but follows more of acrowdsourcing principle where members with similar interests cancontribute to and improve on the existing data.
